Darth

I’ve had the Volvo for about a year and a half now, and usually refer to it as Darth, short for Darth Volvo.  I guess Xiaoyu the Miata gets all of the attention.  I’ve been really down on the Volvo because the Mazda is just so much fun to drive.

My first roadtrip with Darth was down to Carlsbad to visit Vange.

Well, I recently used the Volvo to get to Ventura, CA for a scuba trip.  The trunk easily held all of our dive gear.  The six hour run down to Ventura was a breeze.  The car was fast and comfortable and an ipod rigged to the stereo was a huge factor in it being such a cool run down California 101.

This past weekend, Darth was again at the ocean, this time with a load of surfboards.  The Volvo has definitely earned a page on the blog.
